MCA Code of Practice
J D Wood is authorised to carry out MCA Code of Practice Examinations for
Small Commercial Vessels and Workboats up to 24m Load Line Length.
In addition J D Wood are authorised to carry out surveys and certification of fishing boats on behalf of Seafish Marine Services.
Finally, we are authorised to carry out Tonnage Measurements of vessels up to 24m Load Line Length as part of the required procedure towards vessel registration.
Full registration is required for a number of reasons; mortgage, title, insurance, and commercial operation abroad.
